This treatment begins with acupressure massage along the meridians of the back. Then flash, sliding, and retain fire cupping on the back. As the cups sit, acupressure massage is done on the legs. Finish off this treatment with a facial massage if you like! Leave feeling relaxed, and light!

Direct billing is available for all major insurance companies. I will submit the claim to your health insurance and you may have to pay a small amount, or nothing at all! This all depends on your coverage. If you have questions or concerns about this, please book a free consultation.

Maggie McGriskin

Registered Acupuncturist with ATCMANS

I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2015. During my studies I developed some strange symptoms, but all tests were coming back clear. I found relief when I tried acupuncture, and loved it! I never thought to pursue it as a career until much later. After moving to Halifax, I discovered a Chinese Medicine college in Bedford, and decided to enrol! I graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Diploma of Acupuncture in 2021. In this three year program, I was taught the essence, and the skills required to practice Chinese Medicine. I focus on gentle needling techniques, and often incorporate fire cupping into treatments as well. I also recommend simple lifestyle changes to speed the healing journey. I am now in my second year of practicing this medicine, and I'm forever learning and growing as an acupuncturist! I currently practice at both Glow Acupuncture, and the Spring Garden Massage Addict in downtown Halifax!
